General information: The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course trains healthcare providers with clinical responsibilities in pediatric critical care. PALS places emphasis on the most recent evidence-based resuscitation science for cardiac and respiratory emergencies existing in infants and children. This program utilizes assessment surveys and megacode scenarios to practice team resuscitation.

Students Receive: AHA PALS eCard which is valid for 2 years

The AHA requires that all renewal students bring a copy of their current (non-expired) PALS card to the renewal course.

The AHA requires all students to have a Provider Manual or an eBook Provider Manual for entry into the course.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
